Hi, it is now  resolved. Thanks for reporting this issue. The issue is caused because the database is set to unwritable, which makes all file uploads to be impossible. •  Done, users can now choose to redirect to HTTPS via Special:Preferences. However, by default, users won't be redirected to the HTTPS version of this site, as it should always be the users' choice to choose whether to use HTTPS or not after all. ApexAgunomu creating a nonsense page in project talk space.

Hello, Matttestzh, ApexAgunomu just created TestWiki talk: Community portal, which was filled with garden variety nonsense (keyboard spam). I deleted it as a temporary measure. The problems can be resolved by doing the following:

1. cannot keep accessing this site in HTTPS: In LocalSettings.php, change the value of $wgServer from "//buel.myht.org" to "https://buel.myht.org"

I need your help

I am trying to login to the Administrator account "User3412" of my website running MediaWiki, but it's displaying a error saying:

"Username entered already in use"

File issue

Hey, Matttestzh! I hope you're doing well. When I try performing a logged action on an image, no matter what kind of logged action it is, it gets rejected and this error message pops up that reads:

The page could not be moved, for the following reason:

Could not open lock file for "mwstore://local-backend/local-public/0/01/F-TW_Proposed_logo.png". Make sure your upload directory is configured correctly and your web server has permission to write to that directory. ApexAgunomu's user restriction

I'm not so sure why you rolled this back instead of undoing it and leaving an edit summary, I amended it because it was a. redundant, and b. The restriction said a Steward could lift it, not that it was an explicit community action ban. Justarandomamerican (talk) 22:25, 15 May 2023 (UTC)

Not Matttest, but as the user who created the restrictions page, I thought I’d weigh in. While it’s unlikely that Apex will ever ever request IA, we don’t change things because they are unlikely. For example, a user unblocked B***S*** because “they probably aren’t active anymore.” I quickly reverted this for the same reason, we don’t change things because they are unlikely. You’re correct in your statement that you did have the permission to remove the restriction. However, it is generally best practice to at least consult the community in lifting community actioned restrictions. Now that Matttest disagrees, I would refrain from changing them again without consensus of another steward or the community. I am simply following the general guideline of bold, revert, and discuss. I do admit I could have made an amendment request pointing out all the problems that would cause such a request to be denied anyways, such as lack of trust, lacking the requisite experience, etc, but it seemed like this restriction may have required a lift. I also dispute the requisite intent to necessarily disagree, as it was a simple rollback, and Matt has not yet posted on my talk page or replied here, but that's irrelevant.
